Marchesa Bridal Couture Spring/Summer 2023 is inspired by the ethereal and dreamy floral installation photography of Joe Horner.
Horner’s seductive visuals are carefully composed live flowers collaged against cotton-like clouds, mirrored backgrounds, or immersed in water, sometimes immortalized in frozen blocks. His artwork is a celebration of shape, depth, texture, detail and the pure beauty of love and flowers.
Dahlias, roses on the vine, and meadowy wildflowers are seen throughout the collection in a joyful ode to flowers. Delicate threadwork embroidery enriched with softly shimmering beads, and 3D petals adorn a wide and flattering range of lightweight and verstaile silhouettes. With crisp faille, soft sculptural dutchess satin, and tulle and lace as a canvas, each look is embraced in a unique effortless glamour that celebrates love, romance, and beauty.
