And this season she is sharing her personal story with ultra-feminine collections inspired by the pages of Lewis Carroll's fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland". In this charming and slightly "candy" collection, the concept translates into a new attention to every element of the dress: internal structure, lining, underwire and fine draping. The hyper-detailed approach resulted in a surprising overall feeling of lightness and playfulness: instead of crinolines, layered skirts and stiff bustiers, the ball gowns were made from contoured tulle that weighed next to nothing. Similarly, Ines Di Santo pointed to a new taffeta they designed at the factory, with delicate ivory floral embroidery. On a sculptural halter dress, it was delicate, almost invisible.
