The 26 silhouettes from Labourjoisie witnessed a true declaration of love from the couturier to Mediterranean culture

Under a subdued light reminiscent of the sunset, the 26 silhouettes from Labourjoisie witnessed a true declaration of love from the couturier to Mediterranean culture.

Here, the skirts flourish from tight waists tied with thin barely visible belts and the dresses assert a claimed and strong femininity with extendable trains and XXL puff sleeves. Silver fringes, coloured sequins and immaculate pearls transform silhouettes into magical and timeless gala dresses.  The deep blue of the Mediterranean is reflected on a dress with transparent details and romantic embroidery and the pink of the bougainvillaea on a slit model with an impeccable drape. Like Christian Dior before, Labourjoisie draws a parallel between the delicacy of couture and flora. Dozens of flowers are a must, both as trompe l'oeil on the petticoats of crinoline dresses, and assumed along an XXL collar or a sparkling cape. Slits, necklines and strategic cutouts give a perfectly measured sexy look. A collection was synonymous with escape, life and hope.
