Dsquared2 RESORT 2020

For Resort, Dean and Dan Caten traded their typical black-leather-tough-cookie look for a more bohemian lady-of-the-canyon vibe, all flowery chiffons and billowy tiered dresses.

Why the change? “We went to Ibiza,” they said. For these fun-loving designers, an island vacation is inspiration enough. But the flowers-in-your-hair factor was turned down by the harder edge they tend to favor.

Flowy frocks notwithstanding, do not expect much swooning romance here. “It’s bohemian biker,” they elaborated. Think of the raw charm of Peter Fonda in Easy Rider, or the glammed-up ’70s look of Charlie’s Angels, and you’ve got the picture. (vogue.com)
