MUST HAVE: The idea of crafting luxurious, wearable knitwear is what first inspired Brunello Cucinelli to found his namesake label and still remains what it's best loved for today

Knitwear specialist Brunello Cucinelli has been described as “the king of cashmere.” Based in the tranquil surroundings of Solomeo - a 14th century Umbrian village - his brand is renowned for its ethical and philosophical approach to business, as much as its sumptuous fabrics and timeless color palette.

The new yarn lends an exclusive and luxurious touch the rustic flavor of the sweater.
The processing of the precious mohair and wool fibers enriches the texture with a vaporous effect embellished with paillettes that illuminate the surface. The fit offers roomy and relaxed proportions with dropped shoulders.

The combination of special yarns creates a garment with precious texture and slightly irregular nuance. The special manufacturing process combines the soft and long mohair and wool fibers with those of cashmere and silk dyed in four different shades.

A strand embellished with different-sized paillettes diffuses bright reflections throughout the surface. The modern silhouette combines ample proportions on the upper part to cinch at the stretch rib knit cuffs and hem recalling a cropped fit.

A precious Jacquard knit revisits the traditional tartan pattern in a luxurious interpretation. The warm, lightweight mohair and alpaca fibres embellish the texture with a vaporous effect and are paired with a yarn featuring sequins that create shiny reflections all over surface.

The poncho has a high collar with a side zipper for wearing ease and features a broad and unstructured silhouette, perfect to wear over outerwear and close-fitting jackets especially at the beginning of the season.
