Nature has been a key theme in Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim's designs for Oscar de la Renta in recent seasons

It was a visit to The Cloisters museum in New York City that inspired the floral motifs in Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia's Fall '18 collection for Oscar de la Renta.

For Fall' 18, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia are inspired by a trip they once took with the late Oscar de la Renta to see a sound installation held in The Cloisters at the MET – culminating in a collection influenced by the Elizabethan era.

This gown has a corded lace bodice that's boned for the most flattering fit. The skirt is cut from layers of frothy scalloped tulle - it's surprisingly lightweight, so you'll be able to work the room with ease. Complement the sweetheart neckline with a pair of drop earrings.

Inspired by memories of the late founder, Oscar de la Renta's Fall '18 show had a dream-like quality, and models wore jewellery that felt like mementoes, heirlooms or talismans.
