Must Have SS18: MARCHESA's dresses transported us to a beautiful Far East garden

Marchesa's Spring '18 runway transported us to a beautiful Far East garden - Creative Directors Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig re-imagined everything world traveller Aimée Crocker would have worn when exploring the area in the '20s.

This season, the Marchesa design team is inspired by Tony Duquette's spectacular film sets and interiors - referenced on this gown with frayed floral appliqués that appear to float weightlessly.

The dusty-blue tulle fabric makes the bright colour of the petals all the more striking. It's detailed with a pink velvet ribbon at the waist for definition.

This Marchesa gown features a strapless neckline, embroidered lace tier gown with the corseted draped bodice.

Designed to resemble a Red Japanese Maple, this one-shoulder gown is made from tulle and silk-organza and has a stretch-silk crepe de chine lining for coverage. It has internal boning on the sides and falls to an elongated floor-skimming train.

Rendered in silk, this Marchesa dress features a strapless neckline, bow detail and 3D sequin embroidery.
